As president of one of the oldest continuing practices in the country, I commend to you the audiologists and dispensers listed below. We have over decades of combined experience, and this competence is coupled with care. We dont just look into ears, we look into lives and help make them better.

Chiasson, Au.D. Dr. Carl Chiasson, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Carl Chiasson is a second generation hearing aid dispenser and  former audiology professor. After receiving his bachelors and masters degree in hearing and speech science, he was appointed to the faculty in the department of communication disorders and sciences at Plattsburgh University in 1985. His primary areas of expertise were in hearing aids and aural rehabilitation. He completed the requirements for the doctorate in 2001 as well as an additional degree in counseling psychology. He is the author of numerous articles on digital noise reduction hearing aids. He has also delivered presentations on these topics to state and national speech, language and hearing conventions. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and certified by the American Speech, Languages and Hearing Association.

Baggott Daniel Baggott

As a dispenser AND a hearing aid user, Dan Baggott is known for his empathetic nature with each of his patients. It is in the exam room, meeting the needs of the hearing impaired, that all of his clinical and patient skills converge into the excellence that Hear For You has come to be known for.

Wasson Roberta Wasson
M.A.

Roberta was educated in Laboratory Sciences at Russell Sage College in Albany, NY. For many years, she worked as a micro biology technician, specializing in bacteriology before switching her primary field of interest over a decade ago to hearing loss and hearing instrument sciences. At Hear for you, she brings her expertise in the technical fitting areas. She puts patients at ease with her friendly nature. 


Teter Jared Teter
New York State Licensed Audiologist

Audiologist Jared Teter is a native of Rochester and currently resides in Penfield with his family.

Jared is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a Bachelors in Education of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. He completed his Masters from Kent State University in Audiology and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Audiology. Jared is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.

Jared has gained experience working with pediatrics and adults in the Northeastern Ohio and Rochester area during the past 8 years. Hearing impaired since birth, Jared has a vast and wide range of knowledge of hearing loss and hearing loss related issues.

Palmer Allison Palmer
NYS Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist

Allison is known for her compassion with the hearing impaired and, especially the elderly, as is eivdenced by her degree in Communication Sciences and Gerontology. She is a New York State Licensed Hearing Instrument Dispenser and has been at Hear For You for three years. Allison has an easy rapport with all her patients. She believes in listening to get to the heart of their issue and works closely with them to resolve it.

Barkman, BC-HIS Darren Barkman, BC-HIS
NYS Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist

Darren holds a B.S. in Speech Communication from Plattsburgh State University. He joined the practice in 2002. Darren is known for his down-to-earth approach to better hearing, combining compassion and technical proficiency to provide instruments that are worn and thoroughly enjoyed!
